Happy day after Thanksgiving! The holiday shopping season is officially here so I hope everyone has their lists ready to go. If any of you want to get something for me this year I'll take a Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM UD Wide Angle Zoom Lens :-) It's been a very busy week with family in town for the holiday but I'm managing to get away for a few minutes to do a quick photo share with you:
This photograph was taken in September, 20o1 during our trip to Washington State. We were walking through the woods in the Olympic National Forest when I came across this colorful fungus/mushroom. It was clinging to a fallen log and the orange, red/brown and white color of it was very interesting. I took this with my little Olympus 3.1 megapixel camera and I think the quality is very good. Looking back through the images over the years, that trip resulted in a lot of very good photographs and I wasn't even "into" photography that much at the time. I think we need to revisit the area very soon.
I've also submitted this photograph as part of #FungusFriday over on Google+. I've said it before but if you are into photography and aren't using Google+, you really need to! Make sure to add me to your circles when you sign up.
That's it for this week. I need to get back to eating leftovers! Have a great weekend and look for a BIG CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT next week!
